Wintery Dr. Appt.
I had my next dr. appt. and u/s today. All is well. Conner is growing right on schedule. There was some concern that he would be small due to the cpp (complete placenta previa). He is also still a boy. We did try and get a 3d u/s so that we could get a disc made but he wasn't too cooperative. He either had his hands up by his face or we could only see his profile. He was really wiggly too. I was able to get a picture of him doing the peace sign. Sawyer thought that it was pretty neat he was saying 2. Either my next appt. next month or at my appt. in Feb. I will set my c-section date. The placenta didn't move so it won't. The dr. said that I'll come in the day before the c-section and have an ultrasound and amnio. If Conner passes (his lungs are developed enough) we'll proceed the next day. If not we will do the same thing a week later. As of right now, it looks like he'll be here mid April at 36wks. So, we had all good news today. Now, just another 4 week wait until the next appt.

The semester is done!
YAY!! I'm done for the semester. I have to work 1/2 day on Thurs. and I'm off until Jan. 12th. I still have to get books for next semster and another contract signed to work next semester too. That shouldn't be too much. I am going to try and get the contract tomorrow when I have to turn in my timesheet. The kids are having a Christmas party Friday (if there's school) and I'm going to go and take Sawyer. He should think it's fun. He's been over there a couple of times when I've had to stop in really quick for something.
Sawyer's got to go to the dentist on Friday am. It's just a routine cleaning. He's been going since he's had teeth. He's not looking forward to it but, I told him he has to go and get them cleaned or no party. He usually screams the whole time but, I think it's worth it to make sure he keeps his teeth healthy.
My next dr. appt. is Tues. I have another u/s and appt. I have many questions regarding the complete placenta previa. I don't know if I should be buying some premie clothes or just newborn. I got a couple of sleepers because if he comes in mid-April it may still be chilly out. I am also going to try and have the dr. set up the c-section date too for the 36wk. mark. That way I can get daycare, where Sawyer will stay for the day, etc. figured out. I just like to have a plan in place. Then, if we have to move it a week later, we can. It would just be easier to have it all figured out now.
I am feeling Conner move some. Somedays he's really wiggly and others I can go a whole day without feeling him. I'm sure it's too early to feel him all the time since he's still little. But, that's one of the questions I have for the dr. I'll start cleaning up the baby stuff I have in storage after Christmas. I'll wash clothing, the car seat, stroller, etc. that I'll need right off the bat. That way if something happens and I do go on bed rest I'll know that stuff is taken care of. I'm sure if I asked people would do it for me, but it's just my personality. I'd rather have it all done and not have to worry about it. That way I know it's done right. :) We've decided what we are going to do with the nursery. By we, I mean, I came up with it and Garrett is stuck doing it. We are going to use Casey's overhead projector from school and project a picture of a tractor on the wall. We'll trace it and then paint it. We all know this boy will be a farm boy too! I hope to get that started asap after Christmas. When it's done I'll try and remember to post a picture.
Garrett and I finished our shopping last weekend. I had to stop by babies r us and check out sales. I got another diaper bag. The one Sawyer had at the end it getting bad. It's a nice canvas one so it should be easy to clean. I got a couple of new bibs. One says "I love my big brother" and the other says "Little Brother". They are cute. I told Sawyer about them and he said cool, but I don't think he totally gets it.
Oh, Sawyer has felt Conner kick. One day a week or so ago I was sitting in the chair after work relaxing and he was really moving. I could feel some movements so I had Sawyer feel. He thought it was cool, but not cool enough to quit playing tractors for too long. He's told both papa's and Grandma's that his brother kicked him. So, I guess he liked it. Well I'd better get to making beds after washing them. I'll keep you posted on the appt.
