Oct. Dr. appt.

I had my next doctors appt. yesterday. Everything seemed to go well. We were able to find the heartbeat on the doppler and it was reading at 167. I haven't gained any weight yet, which isn't of any concern. I'm sure it will all come soon enough. It did with Sawyer anyway. I go again next month for another appt. but, with this one we'll have an u/s first. Garrett is going to take the day off for this appt. We are hopefull to be able to tell what the gender is. Hopefully, the baby will be coroperative. Sawyer didn't have any trouble showing us what he was.

I am having more "good" days than bad. By that I mean, the morning sickness still likes to check in from time to time. At least it's not a daily thing anymore. I'm at 11wks. gestation so, one more week and I'm out of the first trimester. At that time the chances of miscarrage go down as well. Some people call it the "critical period". I have also read in some books that the chances of miscarrage go down as well after you hear the heartbeat. It was nice to hear it yesterday. It made me feel a lot better. It didn't bother me as much with Sawyer going month to month with dr. appts. This time I am very ready for another appt. by the time mine comes around. I think I worry more with this one because of everything that we've went through. But, so far, so good, onto the second trimester we go!

Train Ride

Well, I took Sawyer on a train ride today. He was very excited and has been looking forward to it for a few months. After the ride he was able to get a pumpkin. He seemed to have a great time. He is just getting so big! Today he really looked like a big boy to me. It is kind of sad. My baby is growing up so fast. Where did all the time go. Before I know it he'll be in school, driving, dating, etc. I have a while before I have to cross those bridges so, I'll just take one day at a time. I can't get pictures to post right now. I'll try again next time.

It's been awhile.

Sorry it's been so long since a last post. I have been really busy with work, class and family responsiblities. Plus, I am getting in the phase of pregnancy that I'm tired too. So, more and more I am taking well deserved breaks to rest. Not that I get a ton anyway. I just try and get everything done during the week so that all I have is a little bit of homework and at least one day to do nothing or something fun with Sawyer. But, that isn't happening that much now. He's too busy farming to hang out with his mom.

Sawyer still swears that the baby is HIS baby and it's a baby sister. He had to share his grapes with her yesterday. I had my full of them, but I ate a few more because he and "his baby like them." The belly is getting bigger. It feels strange not seeing him/her every week. But, next week I have my next doctor appt. Hopefully I'll be able to hear the heart beat. I'll be 10 wks. on Firday. So, I think we should be able to hear something if it's cooperating. It is half Ryan so, you know how they can be stubborn. I'll try and keep you updated more.

Doing Ok

I'm doing ok. I'm starting to have good days now where I don't feel so sick. It's good but it will sometimes make me nervous that's somethings wrong. But, all is well so far. I got Sawyer his Halloween costume he's going to be Yoda from Star Wars. We are taking a train ride in a couple of weeks in Marne and getting his pumpkin. He wanted to take a train ride and this one isn't very long. He seems pretty excited. Grandma Dana and Grandma Naughty are going too. It should be fun.

Next week is a busy one for me. I have work, class, two tests that I have to make time to go back to the school and take. Plus, I have all the stuff that needs to get done around here. I think some of it will slide this week. Oh, well. Crap happens.

I'm starting to get a belly now. I will probably be in maturnity clothes by Halloween. I'm going to go shopping and look at more clothes. I only had a few from when I was preggers with Sawyer. I wore scrubs most of the time so, I only got a few things. I need more for school now and clothes for work. I don't need too much more though.
